I want to start living a healthy lifestyle but I do not know how to start? Its my second day on this health journey and I am clueless. Now that I found your blog I think you will be able to help me on this journey.
ANSWER: First off I want to say that I am ecstatic that you think my blog will help you on your health journey. Because that is one of the reasons why I started my blog, which is to help people like you to discover different ways on how to live a healthier lifestyle.
Honestly, this is one of the questions I get the most. My advice on this is start by writing down what you want to accomplish on your health journey. Whether its loosing 30 pounds, getting toned, or making healthier choices, it’s better when its written on paper. This way you can refer to your goals when you want to remind yourself of how far you need to go or how far you have come. #Motivation
You will not be clueless once you have written your goals down. Make sure they are realistic goals, something that you can accomplish in the near future. It’s okay to make long-term goals but for someone who is new or struggling to live a healthy lifestyle should take it one day at a time. #lessstress
Second, a healthy lifestyle is not complete without a healthy grocery shopping list. Make a list of the meals you will prep during the week and buy all the ingredients preferably on the weekend. Trust me this will set you up to be on the winning team! However, make sure you actually prepare the foods because what good is healthy foods in your refrigerator and pantry but you still dine out 5 times a week.
Lastly, if you are attending a party and you want to make healthy choices 7 times out of 10 you will eat whatever you want at the party. Plan ahead and have some type of strict healthy diet a few days leading up to the party. Hence, you will be totally fine to treat yourself once the party rolls around.
I know this may seem cliché but remember its up to you to cross the finish line. I can only give you the steps but you have to get out of bed or off the couch and take the plunge!
Until next time….. stay healthy!
